In an attempt to
assist the whole family, Holy Family Shelter
serves families defined as the following:
1. Married couples without children
2. Married couples with children
3. Single parents with children
4. Single pregnant females
Each year Holy
Family Shelter Serves:
~~Over 300 homeless families~~
~~1000 homeless individuals~~
~~Over 600 homeless children~~
The families
admitted to the shelter have no other housing available
to them and may be living with a relative, been evicted
from their place of residence, or living in their car or
on the street. Many of our families are either
unemployed or underemployed and have difficulty
consistently paying their housing and utility costs. A
significant percentage of the families served by Holy
Family Shelter have issues with developmental
disabilities, mental illness, alcohol or drug
dependency, or are fleeing a domestic violence situation
